Kalena Helmer, PT, MSPT, DPT is the director of physical therapy at our Rowlett facility. She is a native of Garland, Texas and currently resides in Rockwall, Texas. She is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M with undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, 2006 graduate of Texas Woman's University receiving her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy, and 2009 graduate of Texas Woman's University receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is currently seeking certification in manual therapy.
Kalena has special interests in manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. She has clinical experience ranging from out-patient orthopedics, in-patient rehabilitation, and acute care.
Wendy Davidson, PT graduated from the University of Oklahoma but is a native Texan. She has been practicing since 1993 with emphasis in aquatic therapy and manual therapy. Her focus has been orthopedics throughout her career with an additional interest in spine.
Jennifer Day, PT, received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of North Texas in 2007 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Texas Woman's University in 2011. Jennifer's special interests lie in the area of outpatient orthopedics and include the rehabilitation of student athletes with sports injuries and patients utilizing prostheses post-amputation.
Angie McQueary, PT, DPT graduated with her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University where she also received her Bachelor's degree. She is currently working towards a manual therapy certification through NAIOMT and is seeking her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification as well. Angie enjoys working with patients of all ages and functional abilities using an evidence-based approach to choose the most effective interventions for each patient.
